There are three main stops near the Minnehaha Falls; the Mall of America, the Falls Park and the historic Fort Snelling. It is very easy to reach them as all are connected by the Light Rail Metro. You will find the exhibits inside the house very interesting. Just look at the early tools and tables used by the early pioneers and Natives Americans. After visiting the Stevens House, you can go to the Pergola Garden, where your children can enjoy those rows of flowers and tunnels.
